They have a vacancy for maternity cover in their Menswear Division. They are looking for an experienced technologist who can comfortably work within Mens Woven and Jersey products. This role is a maternity cover position and will initially be for six months.
• Liaise with design and product development to produce high quality technical specs and work with suppliers & hub offices to ensure that high quality information is briefed to factories
• Benchmark products, set standards and continually develop garments to ensure they are best quality and value
• Fit and approve products, using experience to ensure that procedures are efficient and suited to the product
• Offer technical knowledge to buying and product development to ensure development garments meet requirements
• Manage supply base taking control of any quality issues throughout the supply chain. Work with internal and external colleagues to rectify and effect change for the future
The successful candidate will be a hands on technologist with a passion for producing woven and jersey garments. You will also have:
• Experience working within a retail/manufacturer environment within Menswsear
• High commercial awareness
