They currently have a fantastic vacancy for a Technologist to join their Home Quality Assurance team to focus on Toys and Gifts. The toys and gifts divisions in Home is a vibrant and exciting place to work and as such, they are looking for a progressive, diligent and enthusiastic technologist to fill the role who can support and develop with these exciting business areas!
Job Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technologist to join our Product technology team to focus on Toys & Gifts.
As such, we looking for a progressive, diligent and enthusiastic technologist to fill the role who can support and develop with these exciting product areas!
We are looking for an experienced candidate that has a passion for toys & gifts, together with a keen desire to bring their knowledge to an exciting role.
You will conduct the day to day tasks of risk assessments and sample sealing, management of supply base and test report review, approval and management. In addition to this, you will manage and have direct product category accountability and work closely with your buying teams to deliver exciting, new, legal and compliant products in line with UK and European requirements.
Candidate requirements:
• A strong awareness of Toys/Gifts testing requirements, test methods, and related legislation.
• A proactive problem solving approach to quality issues
• Ability to work individually and support the QA team across different product areas.

• A background in toys/gifting based roles in technical
