International Merchandiser

ROLE PROFILE

To be a key member of the Merchandising Team and to optimize stock across the wholes business by specifically focusing on the Wholesale and Corporate Channels. To maintain RRP price files for all Channels in assorted currencies.

To work closely with the core merchandiser on forecasting and analysis. To support Core merchandiser in production of weekly reporting tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain Range Plans for wholesale partners- tier ranges according to turnover whilst ensuring a credible offer that follows the ranging strategy
• Prepare and maintain ‘sell in’ packages for wholesale sales team at agreed target sales values.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for range packages for potential partners across wholesale and international web sites
• Partner with Corporate team to build agreed continuity range plan
• Keep Wholesale, Corporate and International web teams updated on product code changes
• Build model store ranging for Franchise partners
• Prepare and maintain retail price lists in multiple currencies ensuring target margins are achieved. In Elucid and in Excel
• Prepare order forms and price lists in multiple currencies for Wholesale at varying co-efficient.
• Ensure Wholesale product listing allows overall target margins to be achieved.

• Perform periodic checks of wholesale on line partners and International web sites – raise issues with relevant colleagues
• Manage continuity stock for Franchise partner – cost to fill, min max levels, reorder frequencies etc.
• Forecast Wholesale stock requirements for continuity and seasonal product to tie in with seasonal ordering deadlines and in season top ups and repeats
• Manage Wholesale channel stock location to ring fence stock as required ensuring stock is optimized for the whole business
• Regularly review Wholesale back orders – keep Wholesale team informed on availability.
• Manage Corporate stock location to ring fence stock as required ensuring stock is optimized for the whole business
• Monitor Corporate sales and work with core merchandiser on Corporate requirements to ensure stock is optimized for the whole business
• Prepare monthly analysis to review performance of product and margins – share with Wholesale teams and wider business
• Prepare monthly analysis to review performance of product in Franchise business – share with Franchise partners and wider business – use analysis to review min/max model stock for Franchise partners

• Build quarterly reviews to show trends and sell through for Wholesale and Corporate Channels

• Prepare ad hoc analysis on International web site sales

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Has a high level of understanding of both retail practices and operational processes

• Possesses excellent numeracy and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Driven by the bottom line results.
• Min 3 years working in a merchandising team with good understanding of sales, stock and margin KPI’s.
• Provides challenging and stretching tasks and assignments; holds frequent development discussions; is aware of each direct report’s career goals; works well within a team.
