Merchandiser (Permanent and Interim opportunities available)

1. Permanent Merchandiser position

The Role

• Forecasting and Trading your division to be as commercial as possible
• Producing weekly reports
• Key part of weekly trade meeting
• Monitoring performance and identifying risks and opportunities
• Managing stock intakes/inventory to increase sell through
• Liaising with other departments
• Managing mark downs and promotional activity
• Overseeing the allocation of stock to stores
• Knowledge of new and repeat orders
• Ad-hoc category analysis

Key Skills

• 4-5 years experience within Merchandising so currently a very experienced Assistant or Junior Merchandiser as a minimum
• Ideally experience of Apparel but other backgrounds considered
• Advanced knowledge of excel
• Highly organised using initiative to give solutions to problems
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines

Salary

• £28,000-£35,000 + benefits depending on experience

2. Interim Merchandiser position – 3m rolling contract to support the business through some change

• Experience as above
• Suitable for a consultant, contractor, or immediately available individual.
• 3, 4 or 5 day per week contract (overnight accommodation paid for), 1 day from home
• Salary flexible depending on experience
