Merchandising Manager

The opportunity to work for an aspirational lifestyle brand in the South West of England managing a team of 5 and overseeing the buying function.

Responsibilities include:

• Development, implementation & management of category strategy to ensure customer focused ranges including new brand and product development Optimisation of sales, margins and profitability
• Oversee every aspect of product from selection through to site / selling
• Maintain exceptional relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, maximising opportunities to facilitate business growth
• Strategic management of categories to deliver business growth
• Responsibility for Delivering a strategic supply base & cost effective freight process
• Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
• Participate in and encourage creative and positive thinking throughout the workplace

Experience Required:

• Currently at Merchandiser or Senior Merchandiser level in a recognised Retailer
• People Management experience
• WISSI skills
• Great attitude and personable, commercial and analytical
