Senior Merchandiser

This role is with a successful business who continue to grow their store portfolio. They have recently introduced new EPOs system and are now seeking to strengthen their B&M function with the appointment of a new Senior Merchandiser.

Candidate & Role

• Reporting to the Group B&M Director
• Responsible for constructing and implementing sales Budget.
• Analysing and reporting data from sales, profit and stock, informing, recommending and advising key stake holders.
• Developing and implementing merchandising and processes to ensure sales profit and stock targets are met.
• Guiding, developing mentoring administration team to ensure that best practices is implemented.
• Fundamentally reviewing our existing practices, maintain the best, identify the shortfalls and improving.

You will be an energetic individual who is driven, keenly motivated, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach to problem solving. An analytical merchandising background is essential. Knowledge of department store retailing would be advantageous.

We are seeking someone who can take a recently implemented merchandising system further to integrate and improve current practices. You will need to be an excellent communicator who can demonstrate empathy across departmental functions, including store teams. You will be very capable and able to work with minimal resource.
