They currently have a fantastic vacancy for a Technologist to join their Home Quality Assurance team to focus on hard goods. The hard goods division in Home is a vibrant and exciting place to work and as such, they are looking for a progressive, diligent and enthusiastic technologist to fill the role who can support and develop with these exciting business areas!
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technologist to join our Home Product Technology team to focus on hard goods. The Home hard goods department covers a vast product portfolio of products from furniture, mirrors, candles & diffusers, vases to wall art to name but a few!
As such, we looking for a progressive, diligent and enthusiastic technologist to fill the role who can support and develop with these exciting business areas!
We are looking for an experienced candidate that has a passion for hard goods, together with a keen desire to bring their knowledge to this exciting role.
You will conduct the day to day tasks of risk assessments and sample sealing, management of supply base and test report review, approval and management. In addition to this, you will manage and have direct product category accountability and work closely with your buying teams to deliver exciting, new, legal and compliant products in line with UK and European requirements.
• A strong awareness of furniture & hard goods testing requirements, test methods, and related legislation.
• A proactive problem solving approach to quality issues
• Ability to work individually and support the QA team across different product areas.
