To act as a Senior member of the Technical Development team, in the design, development and test of innovative machinery and peripheral equipment. This role will bring Engineering Subject Matter Expertise (SME); primarily associated with PC’s and networking, but additionally in electronics and electronic hardware, screens and displays, software and payment systems.
• Development of legacy and in-service machinery and peripheral equipment.
• System level design of new machinery and peripheral equipment.
• Generating and maintaining technical specifications, accommodating variances associated with the international rollout.
• Leading work packages associated with (but not limited to) PC’s and networking, electronics and electronic hardware, software, screens and displays, payment systems.
• Driving innovation and introducing new technologies, suppliers and partners.
• Identifying and agreeing appropriate test methods and sample sizes and driving test and validation of software, components and machinery.
• Leading field trials.
• Liaising with suppliers and partners related to detail design and manufacturing.
• Report and document writing; clearly identifying test methods, assumptions, results, conclusions and recommendations for improvement/further development.
• Pro-actively identifying opportunities for cost reduction in Build Costs, Design for Manufacture (DfM), reduction in preventative and reactive maintenance demands and general opportunities for development.
• Supporting the Change Control (CC) process for implementation and embodiment of changes to build standard.
• Knowledge share and the development of less experienced members of the team
• Engineering principals (specifically): Electronics and Electronic hardware, software, PC’s, networking, screens and displays.

• Experience in Manufacturing processes and engineering improvement.
• Educated to degree standard, ideally in an Engineering discipline.
